Silver and bronze at the national championship

Athletes of the Hód Úszó SE took home three medals from the national championships in Győr. Richárd Miksi won silver on 100m breaststroke just behind Dániel Gyurta, while Tamás Szabó won bronze on 50m breaststroke and Ádám Rozanovic on 50m freestyle.

The athletes of Hód Úszó SE reached excellent results at the national championships: the swimmers of the club participated in more than 10 finals, broke 12 local and 31 individual records in Győr. The 18 year old Richárd Miksi won silver medal, Tamás Szabó and Ádám Rozanovic bronze.

“This one in Győr was my first serious competition since I have joined the Hód Úszó SE. I was looking forward to it very much to try myself out. Right in the semi-final I was able to improve more than 1 second. I was very glad and had a feeling that it was worth of the hard work. I really wasn’t expecting to be the second behind Dani Gyurta” – said Richárd Miksi who got one step closer to participate at the EJSC in Hódmezővásárhely.
